Linear Sculpture
This was an 8th grade group project. The group designed and built a replica of the Golden Gate Bridge using only rolled up pieces of newspaper and tape. They then painted it and added the yarn.
This 7th grade project is based on the modern-day Greek tradition of the Kompoloi, or "worry beads". The students chose their color combinations and constructed and secured the loops and tassels.
This 6th grade project required researching a foreign country and creating a book with pockets. The pockets contain pictures of things to see and do in that country. The students constructed every part of the book. They even made the paper used for the covers!
